RECENT OBITUARIES Michael John Sibiga Michael John Sibiga, 56, a Lifelong Resident of Hillside died on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at The Cranford Health and Extended Care Center in Cranford, N.J. Beloved Son of the Late Joseph John Sr. and Veronica Sibiga. Dear Brother of Joseph Sibiga Jr. and his wife Lois of Rahway, Helen Sibiga of Hillside and the late Betty J. Sibiga. Also survived by one Nephew Joseph Sibiga, III and two nieces, Wanda Brasil and Catherine Pawlyk and three grand nephews and one grand niece. Funeral from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 9:15 AM. The Funeral Mass will be offered at Christ the King Church, Hillside, N.J. at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Orange, NJ. Visitation will be on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Michael was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Hillside. He was a Security Guard for Burns Security retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 21 years and also a member of the Newark Armory 2-113th Infantry. Michael was also an avid Giants and Yankees Fan.
