RECENT OBITUARIES Charles A. Preti Charles A. Preti, 96, formerly of Hillside, N.J. passed away peacefully at Manor Care in Boynton Beach, Florida on January 1, 2010. Charles was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth G. Preti in 1988. He was a loving dedicated father and grandfather and is survived by his daughters, Dolores Stavish and her husband Leo and Patricia Thompson and her husband Gene, one grandson, Charles Stavish and four granddaughters, Pamela Stavish Sharkey, Elizabeth Stavish Ervin, Madeline Thompson Garcia, JoAnne Thompson Cocuzza and their spouses. Charles also was blessed with twelve great grandchildren, Danielle, Charles Jr., Ryan, Raymond III, John III, Sarah, Gabriella, Marissa, Isabella, Cataldo, Vincent and Alex and four great great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Riley, Jessie and Lilly. He will be remembered with love by all who were so blessed to know him. Funeral Services will be held at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with a service at 12:00 Noon. Internment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. He was a resident of Hillside for 50 years and was employed at National Tool in Kenilworth as a Tool and Die Caster before retiring at 73.
