RECENT OBITUARIES Dolores A. Philbin Dolores A. (nee Newberry) Philbin, 92 of Hillside, N.J. passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Cornell Hall Nursing Home in Union, N.J. Mrs. Philbin was the Beloved Wife of Late Edward J. Philbin. Devoted Mother of Lynell Feniak and Robert J. Philbin. Also Survived by Seven Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Philbin was born in Scranton, Pa, then moved to Hillside forty five years ago. She was a Clerical Worker for the Essex County Hall of Records in Newark, N.J. for nine years, retiring in 1969. She was a member of the AARP, the National Democratic Committee in Washington, D.C. and the National Committee to preserve Social Security and Medicare. A Funeral Service will be held at the Growney Funeral Home 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. The visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
