RECENT OBITUARIES Julia A. Palma Julia A. (nee Vella) Palma, 80, of Lakewood, formerly of Union, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, N.J. Julia was the Beloved wife of the Late Basil Palma. Devoted Mother of Patrick D. Palma. Dear Sister of Mary Maisano and John Vella. Loving Grandmother of Daniel and Nicole and Great Grandmother of Luis. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 6-9 PM at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Union, N.J. Mrs. Palma was a Secretary for the Whippany Paper Board Company for eight years, retiring in 1968.
