RECENT OBITUARIES Bernadette T. McCarthy Bernadette T. McCarthy, 78, of Union, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at her home. Bernadette was the Loving Wife of the late John J. McCarthy. Devoted Mother of Bernadette and Marion McCarthy and the Late John J. McCarthy. Dear Sister of Albert and Frank Gadomski and Edna Gorchess. Loving Grandmother of Erin McCarthy. Mrs. McCarthy was born in Perth Amboy and lived most of her life in Elizabeth before moving to Union one year ago. She was a Secretary at the Boorum and Pease Company in Elizabeth for fifteen years, retiring in 1986. She previously worked as a Secretary for the Union County Board of Social Services in Elizabeth for eight years. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2009.
