RECENT OBITUARIES Marilyn J. Loneker Marilyn J. (nee McGuire) Loneker, 78 passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010 at her granddaughter’s home in Elizabeth, N.J. Beloved Wife of the late Edward J. Loneker. Loving Mother of Thomas, Peggy, Roberta, Patricia, Deborah and the late Joseph. Dear Sister of Joan, Ella and the late Charles, Richard, Donald and Jack. Devoted Grandmother of James, William, Tiffany, Rebecca, Sarah, Daniel, Joseph, Mia, Amber, Loriann and Edward and Great Grandmother of Kyle, Christian, Isabella, Daniel, Mikayla and Jenna Rose. Mrs. Loneker, born in Newark, lived most of her life in Elizabeth. She was a Home Health Aid for the Center for Hope for twenty years. Over the many years employed there, she touched and comforted many lives with her compassionate and caring nature. She was honored and awarded on several occasions for her dedication to her patients and their families. She was an avid reader and loved country music but her true joy came from spending time as a devoted and loving Granny who was proud of all their accomplishments. Funeral from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 8:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will be offered at The Church of St. Catherine of Siena, Hillside. NJ. at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, NJ. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Center for Hope in Scotch Plains, NJ.
