RECENT OBITUARIES William H. Knapp William H. Knapp, 77 of Kenilworth, N.J. formerly of Union and Hillside passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J. Mr. Knapp is the Beloved Husband of Patrkia (nee Hahn) Knapp. Devoted father of Linda A. Lewy, Donna J. Helock, Kim Rennie and Kathy Bliss. Dear Brother of Bridget Walsh. Also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The Funeral from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. at 8:30 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Theresa’s Church in Kenilworth, N.J. at 10:00 AM. followed by burial at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Mr. Knapp was a Custodian for the Hillside Board of Education for 20 years, retiring 11 years ago. He was a member of the Thomas F. Canty Knights of Columbus Council 3197 of Hillside, the Springfield-Hillside Elks Lodge # 2004 and the VFW Post 2230 of Kenilworth, N.J.
