Mr. Farinas was the Loving Husband of 71 years to Juana (nee Esteva Borges) Farinas. Devoted Father of Ivonne Miranda and her husband Rodolfo and Luis D. Farinas. Devoted Grandfather of Jessica Martinez and her husband Jamie, Dr. Rodolfo Miranda and his wife Gladys, Michelle Casero, and Brittany and Julian Farinas. Also Survived by GreatGrandchildren, Tanya, J.R., Roman, Reid, Samantha and Jack. Born in Bayamo, Cuba, Luis came to the United States in 1958, living first in Brooklyn, New York then Elizabeth, N.J. Funeral from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. on Tuesday, June 14th, 2009 at 8:15 AM. The Funeral Mass will be held at The Church of St.Catherine of Siena, Hillside. NJ. At 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, 4:00 - 9:00 PM. Entombment will be at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J.
