RECENT OBITUARIES Gerarde H. DuBeau Gerarde H. DuBeau, 78 of Manasquan, N.J. formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, N.J. Mr. DuBeau was the Beloved Husband of the Late Phyllis (nee Dowdell) DuBeau. Devoted Father of Thomas and his Wife Susanne Hewitt-DuBeau , Jacqueline Colligan and her Husband Kevin and the late Gerarde “Tim” DuBeau. Dear Brother of Francis DuBeau (his Twin), Eileen Sowa, Kathleen Nicole and Eugene DuBeau. Also survived by six Granddaughters and many wonderful nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. The Funeral Service will be at the funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Wall, N.J. Mr. DuBeau was born in Elizabeth and lived there until seven years ago when he moved to Manasquan. He was a communicant of St. Catherine’s Church. He worked in the Maintenance Department for the Elizabethtown Gas Company in Union, N.J. for thirty five years, retiring in 1992. Mr. DuBeau was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict from 1953-1958. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
