RECENT OBITUARIES Victor M. Diaz Victor M. Diaz, 70, of East Orange, died March 28, 2009 at Whitehouse Nursing Home, Orange. Beloved wife of Maria I. (nee Funtes) Diaz. Loving father of Carmen Tagliareni, Manny, Carlos, Edwin and the late Victor Diaz. Also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 29 Brothers and Sister and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM. The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas the Aquinas RC Church, Ludlow Street, Newark at 11:30 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-9 PM. Mr. Diaz was born in Puerto Rico and lived in Newark before moving to East Orange 25 year ago. Victor was a mechanic and owner of Ventura Motors on Elizabeth Ave. Newark for over 15 years
