RECENT OBITUARIES Nicholas Cicchino Nicholas Cicchino, 85 of Hillside, N.J. passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Cranford Health and Extended Care Center in Cranford, N. J. Mr. Cicchino was the Beloved Husband of Grace (nee Hubbard) Cicchino. Devoted Father of Nicci Guiro, Donna Klepetz, Deborah Parmelee and Diane C. Fulton. Dear Brother of Yolanda Howacz, Frank Cicchino, Josephine Korzikowski and Enrico Cicchino and the late Justine Cicchino, Carmen Cicchino and Rosa Roman. Loving Grandfather of five Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. Mr. Cicchino was born in Newark and lived in Hillside for fifty four years. He served in the US Marine Corp during WWII from August 1943 to August 1945. He worked for the Teamsters Local #641 and # 560 of Kearny, N.J. He then worked for the Millburn High School in Millburn, N.J. in the Maintenance Department for ten years retiring in 1990. He was a Member of the Italian American Association and the KFC # 3197, both of Hillside, N.J. A Funeral Service will be held at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J. The visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers a donation to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
