RECENT OBITUARIES Rose A. Cardaci Rose A. Cardaci, 78, of Hillside, N.J., passed away on February 8, 2009 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. Beloved Wife of Philip C. Cardaci. Jr. Loving Mother of Diane Henn, Philip A. Cardaci, III and Michael A. Cardaci. Dear Brother of the Late Ronald Avino and Sister-in- Law of Philomena Avino. Also survived by eight Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, N.J. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Jude's Foundation. Rose was born in Staten Island, New York and lived in Newark before moving to Hillside over seventy years ago.
