RECENT OBITUARIES Candace A. Adams Candace (Candy) A. (nee Barnes) Adams, 56, of Hillside, N.J. passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Trinitas Medical Center, Elizabeth, N.J. Mrs. Adams was the Beloved Wife of the Late William “Billie” Adams. Devoted Mother of Bobby and Brian Adams and Kelly Giffert Dear Sister of David, Richard and the late Billy Barnes. Loving Grandmother of David, Steven and Caitlyn. Candace was born in Newark and lived in Hillside for most of her life. She was a Crossing Guard for the Township of Hillside, for several years and also enjoyed working as a Bartender for many years. The visitation will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad Street, Hillside, N.J. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM . Interment at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
